Advanced Medical has a thirteen week assignment available for a speech language pathologist in the friendly Spokane, WA area. The position will require the speech therapist to work in one of our prestigious rehabilitation companies in a Skilled Nursing setting. Experience working with the geriatric population on all levels of skilled rehabilitation is required for any one applying for the SLP job.

Any candidate interested in this fantastic opportunity will have the capability to work independently and maintain a level of 85-95% productivity. The speech language pathologist hired for this position will use their skills in evaluating and diagnosing the patient’s speech disorders and develop a plan of treatment to improve each patient’s communication skills. The SLP job requires the applicant to work with and develop treatments based on communication with doctors and other health care professionals. The speech therapist will be required to participate in an interdisciplinary skilled team. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance companies as well as the ability to complete computerized documentation is also required for any candidate applying for this great opportunity.
