Advanced Medical is looking to fill the position of a speech language pathologist in one of our highly respected Skilled Nursing facilities. Experience working in an Skilled Nursing facility is required from any applicant applying for the SLP job. The fundamental responsibilities of all speech therapists include evaluating the patient’s disorders, whether mental or physical, keeping diligent records of the patient’s progress, as well as the patient’s and the patient’s families concerns and collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals to develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient. We are searching for a resourceful speech language pathologist who will utilize their independent skills in conjunction with new techniques, to create customized treatment plans for all of our patients.

This SLP position also requires a working knowledge of insurance plans, including but not limited to Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance companies. In addition, the ideal speech therapist candidate will have the experience and familiarity in working on and completing computerized documentation.
