An opening for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is currently available in the pleasant Hinsdale, IL area. The ideal candidate will be placed by Advanced Medical for a thirteen week assignment to work in a Skilled Nursing setting in one of our highly regarded rehabilitation companies. The COTA job applicant will be working within an Skilled Nursing setting and should have experience working with the geriatric population in all levels of skilled rehabilitation.

The primary duties of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will include working with and assisting the occupational therapist with diagnosing the patient, developing an individualized plan for treatment and effectively implementing the treatment in order to obtain the best results possible for each patient. The detailed oriented individual applying for this job will be able to take copious notes detailing the patient’s progress and development under the direction of the occupational therapist. The perfect candidate will be able to work well under supervision and independently and will have the ability to maintain 85-95% productivity throughout this assignment. Experience with Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance carriers and the skills required to draft computerized documentation is also required for any applicant considering this wonderful opportunity.
